Since 1978, the Spirit of the Woods Music Association has put together an annual music festival, the Spirit of the Woods Folk Festival. The event is held at Dickson Township Park- 14279 N. Coates Hwy, Brethren, on the third Saturday in June frpom 12-8pm The festival usually features a day full of music on two stages, arts and crafts vendors, children’s activities, great food, and a closing dance. Spirit of the Woods also presents concerts, dances, open mics, and special events during the fall and winter months.
